Local Focus

F. Oliver’s is firmly rooted in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York, with stores in Canandaigua, Ithaca, and Rochester. Though many of our premium culinary ingredients are imported from around the world, all remaining aspects of the business happen right at our stores. Our fine oils, vinegars, and spices are bottled on site, with an emphasis on constant and regular rotation. This ensures the freshest supply of products and centralizes much of the operational work in our own stores.

Beyond that, we work with other local professionals to fulfill all the major and support functions required by any business: local marketing, design, advertising, bookkeeping, and much more. Although similar stores may exist, F. Oliver’s is truly one of a kind. Our product line, design, branding, management, staffing, culture, and passion are 100% ours. We’re here to share all that with the wonderful residents and visitors that adore the Finger Lakes area as much as we do.

Our oils, vinegars, and other ingredients are excellent contributions to classic French cooking. But, perhaps more often, we see them shine in the simplest of recipes and uses–accessible and enjoyable for all types of cooks. A drizzle of our Fresh Bright Basil EVOO & Felix Oliver’s 18-Year-Old Special Reserve balsamic vinegar takes a tomato, basil, and mozzarella salad from tasty to tantalizing. Better yet, it only requires a bit of slicing and a few quick drizzles! So whether you’re a new cook, an experienced home chef, a classically trained culinarian, or anywhere in between, our many products are sure to delight. You only have to be open to the possibility.

Someone from our staff is always on hand to conduct a tasting tour or offer suggestions, specifically suited to your needs and preferences. Each member of our staff is selected for their strong culinary sensibilities (both trained and self-nurtured), friendly and hospitable demeanor, eagerness to learn, and drive to work hard. Locations

F. Oliver’s first opened in Canandaigua, NY, where the close proximity to the reputable New York Kitchen (formerly New York Wine & Culinary Center) is a clear advantage. Shortly after, we expanded onto one of Rochester‘s trendiest and most beloved shopping streets: Park Avenue. After a strong interest in our quality products was demonstrated in both areas, F.
